Amanda Fishman is from Sebastian, FL and is a graduate of Stetson University with a B.S. in Integrative Medicine. As an active orientation leader, student-athlete, and member of the Greek community at Stetson, Amanda found her passion within student affairs. Therefore, she ultimately went on to pursue a Master of Education degree from Auburn University in the Administration of Higher Education program. Throughout her two years at Auburn, Amanda served as the President of the Higher Education Student Association, was a sexual assault survivor advocate, regularly facilitated risk management and bystander educational workshops, and worked with the Panhellenic Council, Residence Life, Leadership and Service, and the Health Promotion & Wellness Services offices. She has also had various internship opportunities in Greek Life and Leadership at the University of Louisville, Western Carolina University, and the University of Vermont. Amanda continues to volunteer for her own sorority, Pi Beta Phi, as an alumnae advisor to the chapter at Auburn University, a Fraternity Recruitment Coach, and as a Critical Conversations facilitator. Other fraternal volunteering includes serving as the recruitment advisor to Beta Theta Pi at Emory University. When Amanda is out of the office, she finds herself spending way too much on coffee, exploring to find the next great place for brunch, and spending time outdoors! It is with immense joy that she has been able to work for institutions with a rich history of fraternity and sorority life and she is excited to continue doing so here, with the Yellow Jacket family!
