Greek 120 Meal Plan

Fraternities and sororities are social organizations. Taking meals together is a very strong bonding experience. Many chapters require all members to purchase a meal plan for a certain number of weekly dinners. Chapters typically have a hired chef or cook to prepare meals. Meal plans for students living in the chapter house vary from one chapter to another.  A chapter might have seven dinners and lunches per week with an open kitchen for breakfast and snacking, or dinners only with breakfast and lunch in an open kitchen. There are many variations offered within each organization. Same chapters also open their kitchens to allow for other Greek members of another chapter to share their space.

GREEK 120 = $1517

Available only to first-year students who have pledged a recognized Greek letter organization that has a house/meal plan service of their own. This does not cancel your plan with Dining Services, but it lowers your options to accommodate the meals you will alternatively receive in the house you have joined. Freshman Connect meal plan transfer requests are managed by our office at the start of each semester following fall and spring recruitment periods. To modify your current plan to include the Greek 120 Meal Plan, please fill out this form (it is only accessible by verified Georgia Tech students and open during a brief period following fall and spring recruitment). No late forms will be accepted under any circumstance unless you accepted a bid (invitation to join membership) to a chapter after this date. If that is the case, please email jamison.keller@studentlife.getech.edu

  • Included Meal Swipes: 120 declining balance meal swipes per semester
  • Included Dining Points: 300
  • Included Buzzcard Funds: $50

Joining the Greek 120 Meal Plan allows you to alter your Freshman Connect Meal Plan to a more flexible plan that allows for the meals that you would have instead at your chapter house. It can also provide a more affordable campus meal plan to adjust for the cost you would pay for your fraternity/sorority meal plan (chapter meal plan prices vary by chapter).

If you joined a chapter in the Fall 2017 semester, fill out the form by Wednesday, January 3rd at 5pm

If you are a new member of a Greek letter organization as of Spring 2018, you have until Wednesday 24th at 5pm.

No late forms will be accepted and plans cannot be canceled. If you have any questions, please email jamison.keller@studentlife.gatech.edu
